FAMILY LITERACY

The SEEDS program, under the Family Literacy initiative, is offered in several communities throughout the County.  It is a group experience for parents and their children age 0-5 (siblings are welcome). It focuses on the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs, and stories as well as other creative opportunities together in a fun program. The parents gain skills that enable them to create new and positive family patterns during their children’s crucial early years. The program runs for 8-16 weeks. Registration is required.
